The Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR), operating under the Ministry of Science and Technology, has announced a contract-based position for Consultant under the PSDP Project titled “Research, Development and Innovation in PCSIR (RD&I)”.

🔹 Salary Package

The salary will be decided based on the qualification and experience of the selected candidate.


🔹 Qualification & Experience Requirements

Education:

  • Ph.D. degree in a relevant field with minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a public sector organization.
    OR

  • MS/M.Phil. or equivalent (18 years of education) with minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a public sector organization.

Field / Discipline:

  • Aquaculture, Fisheries, or Aquatic Sciences

Experience:

  • Demonstrated skills in practical aspects of aquaculture nationalization, optimization, entrepreneurship development, and training management.

  • Ability to conduct surveys, data analysis, and produce high-quality technical reports.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in the relevant field.

  • The position is temporary and is exclusively for the PSDP Project “Research, Development and Innovation in PCSIR.”

  • Candidates with higher qualifications and strong academic background will be preferred.

  • Third-division holders are not eligible to apply.

  • Government employees should apply through proper channel.

  • PCSIR reserves the right to cancel or postpone the recruitment process at any stage.
