NADRA Jobs 2025 – Assistant Director SOC (Islamabad)

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), working under the Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan, has announced new job vacancies for the post of Assistant Director (Security Operations Center – SOC L1) at its headquarters in Islamabad. Job Details

The available position is Assistant Director (Security Operations Center – L1). The maximum age limit for applicants is 37 years. The job location is Islamabad, and the selected candidate will be appointed on a contract basis for five years, which can be extended depending on performance and organizational needs.

Education Requirement

Applicants must have a 4-year bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, or any equivalent field. Minimum 16 years of education is required, and all degrees must be verified and attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Experience Requirement

Candidates must have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in Information Security within a reputable organization. Experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) or analysis work will be preferred. Hands-on experience with SIEM and SOAR technologies is desirable. Candidates with international certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, CEH, or Elastic Security will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will monitor and detect incidents using SIEM consoles, dashboards, and reports. They will identify and analyze anomalies, report incidents to the concerned team, and escalate them when necessary. The Assistant Director SOC will assist in incident detection and resolution and ensure proper communication with internal and external teams for effective incident handling.

Terms and Conditions

The initial hiring will be on a five-year contract, which can be extended if required. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test or interview. Applicants already working in government or semi-government organizations must attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.
